The Double Column at Nats Park

Come See Natures Masterpiece

Rising to a towering 47 feet, the Double Column is the tallest formation in Luray Caverns. It’s a classic example of what happens when a stalactite and stalagmite meet to form one massive natural wonder.

From Capital to Caverns in 90 Minutes

Like baseball, the awe and wonder of Luray Caverns is best shared with friends and family. In less than an hour and a half from D.C., you can stand beneath the Double Column and see nature’s architecture up close.

Make It a Weekend to Remember

The adventure doesn’t stop at the Caverns. Walk through restored historical structures at the Shenandoah Heritage Village. Cruise the vehicular history at the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum. Or stop into Toy Town Junction. All included with your ticket to the Caverns.
